Rib Beanie

Rib beanie overview:

• This hat is knit in the round from the bottom up.
• The hat is worked in 1x1 rib
• 5 sizes, to fit a head circumference of
  • A: 33-38cm
  • B: 38-43cm
  • C: 43-48cm
  • D: 48-55cm
  • E: 55-58cm
  • F: 58-61cm
• Gauge: 32 stitches = 10cm in 1x1 rib in the round
• 2 strands of yarn held together throughout

You will need:

• All sizes require 50g Sandnes Garn Sunday or Lana Gatto Perlata d’Australia held with 25g Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair or Lana Gatto Silk Mohair
• 1 stitch marker
• 4mm circular needles (or size to achieve gauge) - you may wish to switch to DPNs when the circumference gets smaller, or continue with circular needles and use the magic loop method
• Scissors
• Darning needle

Techniques:

• Italian tubular cast on
• Joining in the round
• K2tog (decrease)
• Finishing the hat by pulling the working yarn through the stitches
• Optional, magic loop
